WVAJ Criminal Defense/court-appointed attorneys Practice Section
The West Virginia Association for Justice now offers a special practice section to members whose work includes court-appointed services. This section is designed to provide specialized information and resources to West Virginia attorneys whose practices include paid retention as defense counsel, appointed public defender services, appointed guardian ad litem in abuse and neglect cases and other areas.
The section includes its own member listserv, which allows you to exchange information, share ideas and post questions about cases, strategies, sample pleadings, experts and resources to other section members and get answers quickly.
The WVAJ Criminal Defense/Court-Appointed Attorneys Practice Section is open to all WVAJ members. If you are a current WVAJ member, download the section form and join today!
Not a WVAJ member? Join the association and the practice section by downloading and completing both forms at the link below. If your practice includes a significant percentage of court-appointed public defender services or guardian ad litem work, WVAJ will waive your membership fee for 2016. To see if you qualify for this waiver, please email Beth White.
