2021 WVAJ Mid-Winter Seminar Online
Cut Through the Advertising Noise to Reach Your Prospective Clients

"Marketing is just like taking a deposition.  To be successful, you need to learn how to do it effectively to get the results you want."

We're all bombarded with advertising messages.  Television.  Social Media.  Internet Advertising.  Radio.  Billboards.  We can't get away from them.  The "noise" never ends, and most of us have learned to tune them out.

So how does your law practice break through and reach your prospective clients?  Learn how from Miami attorney and lawyer marketing expert Tom Scolaro.  He will present "Law Firm Marketing: What Works and What Doesn't When Building Your Practice" for the 2021 WVAJ Mid-Winter Seminar Online.

"I compete in Florida, which is a very tough and competitive marketplace.  National law firms and the big state firms saturate our market.  There are ways for all law firms to thrive though, even in a market like mine.  My budget is just a fraction of what many spend, but our firm is profitable consistently because I believe we've perfected the formula," said Tom.

"Those national firms are bombarding us to death.  I want to help lawyers learn how to not just survive, but thrive and have a continuously successful practice.  That competition isn't going anywhere, but you can't complain about it.  You need to get out there and take it back."

To be successful, lawyers need to learn about marketing the same way they learn about every other aspect of their legal practices.

"Marketing is just like taking a deposition.  To be successful, you need to learn how to do it effectively to get the results you want," said Tom.  "You need to have a marketing plan, and it needs to be an important part of your business plan.  It can't be an afterthought.  You need to take the time to do it right."

Tom's session will focus on the importance of that marketing plan; message development and tailoring those messages to different audiences; and traditional marketing and advertising strategies, but with updated 2021 tactics.  He will also discuss reasonable timelines and expectations for your effort.

"The biggest mistake that lawyers make with marketing is that they want immediate results.  They expect it to be an overnight success.  I've seen it repeatedly, but it doesn't happen like that.  Creating brand awareness through consistency and repetition takes time. "

Learn how to do it at the 2021 WVAJ Mid-Winter Seminar Online.
