About the West Virginia Association for Justice
The West Virginia Association for Justice is a voluntary bar association for attorneys licensed to practice in West Virginia and paralegals. WVAJ and its members are committed to protecting access to our state and federal courts, our civil justice system and our 7th Amendment right to jury trial.
Founded in 1959, WVAJ represents nearly 500 attorneys practicing in West Virginia and surrounding states. Every day they seek justice in our courts for those who have been harmed physically and financially by the conduct and negligence of others. Their work has established safer workplaces, employee rights, safer products, better healthcare, consumer protection law, property owners' rights, a cleaner environment and increased corporate responsibility.
WVAJ is also committed to providing West Virginians with quality legal representation. WVAJ provides continuing legal education, amicus support and other critical resources for both attorneys and paralegals.
