WVAJ Membership Application
To become a member of the West Virginia Association for Justice, complete the online membership application. You may pay your application dues online with a secure credit card transaction. WVAJ accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. If you wish to pay by check, WVAJ will invoice after your application is received.
Your application will be reviewed by the executive committee and/or its designees upon receipt.
Our Member Certification
As part of your application process, you must certify that your practice—and the practice of the firm with which you are affiliated—does not include the defense of personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, workers compensation claims and/or the representation of other interests adverse to consumers, workers and the mission of the West Virginia Association for Justice. This member certification will be sent to you after we receive your membership application.
We understand that many West Virginia attorneys, particularly in rural counties, do some defense work or that you may have long standing clients that result in some defense work from time to time. We do not want this to disqualify you from membership. Thus, we created a waiver provision. If you do some defense work, please consider applying for a waiver. Check the appropriate box on the certification form and submit your written request for a waiver.
